1. Introduction

Welcome to MyHuzl. These Terms of Use ("Terms") constitute a legally binding agreement between you and MyHuzl ("we," "us," or "our") governing your access to and use of our website, mobile application, and services (collectively, the "Platform").

BY ACCESSING OR USING THE PLATFORM, YOU AGREE TO BE BOUND BY THESE TERMS. IF YOU DO NOT AGREE, DO NOT USE THE PLATFORM.

MyHuzl is a digital marketplace connecting experts ("Service Providers" or "Experts") with customers ("Buyers") for the purchase of digital content, courses, and professional services. We act as an intermediary to facilitate these transactions and provide Escrow services for payment security.

2. Account Registration

To use certain features of the Platform, you must register for an account. By registering, you agree to:

Be at least 18 years of age or the age of majority in your jurisdiction.
Provide accurate, current, and complete information during the registration process.
Maintain the security of your password and accept all risks of unauthorized access to your account.

3. Payments & Escrow

Secure Escrow Protection

To ensure trust and safety, MyHuzl uses an Escrow system for all service-based transactions. Funds are held securely until the work is delivered.

Service Transactions: When a Buyer pays for a service, funds are held in Escrow by MyHuzl via our payment partner (Paystack). Funds are released to the Expert only upon successful delivery and acceptance of the service (or auto-release after 3 days of no dispute).

Digital Products: Payments for instant downloads (e.g., ebooks) may be released immediately or held briefly subject to system fraud checks.

Payouts: Experts can withdraw earnings to verified bank or mobile money accounts. MyHuzl reserves the right to delay payouts for security reviews if suspicious activity is detected.

4. User Conduct

You agree NOT to engage in any of the following prohibited activities:

Violating any applicable laws or regulations.

Offering or soliciting illegal services or content.

Circumventing the Platform to transact directly (Fee Avoidance).

Harassing, abusing, or harming another person.

Using the Platform for money laundering or fraud.

5. Disputes & Refunds

Disputes between Buyers and Experts regarding service quality or delivery must be reported through the Platform's "Report Issue" feature within 24 hours of marked delivery.

Arbitration Policy

MyHuzl acts as the final arbitrator. We review evidence from both parties to determine a fair resolution (partial refund, full refund, or release to Expert).

6. Intellectual Property

Experts: You retain ownership of your content but grant MyHuzl a license to display and promote it. You warrant that you own or have rights to sell the content you list.

Buyers: You are granted a non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use purchased content for personal use unless otherwise specified.

7. Limitation of Liability

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, MYHUZL SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS OR REVENUES, WHETHER INCURRED DIRECTLY OR INDIRECTLY.

8. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Ghana, without regard to its conflict of law principles.
